Available features on BMW M Series
M Drive enables drivers to program a host of the BMW M Series functions to suit their individual preferences. These functions include the Digital Motor Electronics (DME system), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Electronic Damper Control (EDC), Servotronic steering and the engine. Just one touch of the M Drive button on the steering wheel and all preselected settings are reactivated - for exceptionally comfortable or exceptionally dynamic driving.
Always keep an eye on the most important information: when the M mode is activated, the M Head-Up Display displays the rev count as a dynamic graph curve, the optimum moment to change gears (indicated by shiftlights) and the speed. If required, other important parameters, such as navigation symbols and Check Control data, can be projected directly into the driver's line of vision.
The rear view camera enables drivers to see objects much better during difficult manoeuvres. Depending on the steering angle, trajectory lines in the monitor display show the expected route during reversing. Top View also allows drivers to see the area to the sides of the vehicle, which enables them to check the distance between their vehicle and the pavement when parking, for example.
